Scott joined the Artiea team in 2021 after a distinguished 30-year career in the United States Navy. He brings with him extensive experience in organizational leadership and in managing complex teams and projects. While serving in the Navy, Scott pursued his master’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Financial Planning.
Originally trained as an engineer, Scott is always looking for ways to streamline processes to make the office more efficient and improve the overall client experience. He spends most of his time developing investment planning recommendations for new and existing clients and in following up with clients on implementation.
Scott is passionate about giving back to the military community and currently serves as a mentor for service members transitioning out of the military.
Personally, he has been married for 22 years to the love of his life, Laurie, and together they have a beautiful daughter, McKenna, who attends the University of Colorado, Boulder. They enjoy traveling and spending time in the outdoors hiking and biking and recently converted their mountain bikes to electric to be able to access more of the beautiful trails and bike paths in the area. Scott also dabbles in home brewing and hopes to attend the Great American Beer Festival one day.
